Violet Dawson is like most teenage girls on the cusp of adulthood. Lost and unsure, she fears her future is outrunning her, and she will never catch up. But on a day when she enters an unusual bookstore she has never seen before in her small town of Pewter Falls, Idaho, she will inadvertently make contact with an entity from another world... an entity which aims to upend the fragile balance of her life.
